ROAR is hiring a studio manager to join its team in London.

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised studio manager to join our small, creative team. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment and enjoys wearing many hats – from overseeing studio operations to supporting projects and people.

About the role

As studio manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the studio, providing vital administrative, operational, and financial support. You’ll keep things moving behind the scenes, helping the team stay on track while also supporting our creative output. From handling invoices and tracking budgets, to liaising with suppliers, updating the website, and coordinating team socials.

What you’ll be doing

Office and operations:

  • manage general office operations, supplies, equipment and systems
  • coordinate CPDs, studio breakfasts, and team events

Finance and bookkeeping:

  • assist with budgeting, invoicing, payments, appointments and financial tracking
  • work with accountants on VAT returns and monthly financial reporting

HR and team support:

  • support onboarding, payroll coordination and annual leave tracking
  • manage employee reviews and maintain HR records and communications

Marketing and projects:

  • coordinate PR activity, competition submissions and website updates
  • manage project leads, update CRM and help schedule networking

ROAR interiors:

  • help with procurement and installation of FF&E and architectural items
  • track deliveries, liaise with suppliers, and attend site visits

About you:

  • you’re detail-oriented, delivery-focused and a natural self-starter
  • experience in studio/office management, ideally within a creative or design-led environment
  • comfortable juggling multiple priorities and switching between tasks
    Confident using Xero, Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and ideally familiar with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite and project platforms like Streamtime
  • some knowledge of architecture and interior design terminology is a bonus
  • experience in bookkeeping and basic financial principles

The details

  • part-time role: min three to four days per week (open to full-time depending on skillset)
  • salary – competitive, depending on experience
  • start date – as soon as available
  • based in our friendly, collaborative studio in Farringdon (flexible working from home policy)
