Marketing and programme executive
at Roca

Roca London Gallery is hiring a marketing and programme executive to join its team in London.

About the role

Roca London Gallery are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual with an interest in the built environment to produce, deliver and communicate the gallery’s cultural programme and to the architecture and design sector, as well as communication of the gallery as the flagship showroom of Roca products. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organisation, delivery and promotion of exhibitions and events overseeing external curators and contributors, design and installation teams from concept to installation, on time and within budget, as well as all marketing activities relating to the gallery. All members of the team also contribute to the collective effort in delivering a fantastic experience to all visitors, sharing knowledge and guiding them across cultural activities and product support.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:00/9:00 or 17:30.

Key responsibilities:

  • partaking in the creation and implementation of strategies to promote the Roca London Gallery, its public programme and its showroom to the architecture and design sectors and wider communities through media, digital and partner organisations
  • developing and delivering high-quality and relevant exhibitions (one to two per year) on the topics of architecture and design including working with external curators, designers and fabricators
  • producing and promoting events annually that align with the exhibition programme, brand partnerships and wider built environment topics,  including planning, management of contributors, all reporting, and working alongside the team on the production of the events
  • digital marketing for Roca London Gallery, including: producing content and keeping rocalondongallery.com up-to-date with events listings, exhibitions and news; social media management for Roca London Gallery channels, including content creation and scheduling; writing and scheduling monthly newsletters and event invitations
  • keeping up to date with new products and collections from all relevant brands within the Roca Group, and supporting visitors where needed with product advice and information
  • maintaining key partnerships for both Roca London Gallery and Roca UK within the architecture & design space, and identifying new relationships and partnerships with relevant organisations, festivals or other partners
  • supporting the gallery manager in ad-hoc projects and tasks to grow and develop the Roca London Gallery programme and audience

Due to the physical nature of the space which is open to the public, this role is based five days per week in the Zaha Hadid designed Roca London Gallery, SW6.

Person specification:

  • knowledge of the built environment sector, with a love for architecture and all things design
  • a marketing generalist with good all-round marketing experience
  • experience in website management, e-mail marketing and social media, with great written communications and content creation
  • outgoing and comfortable establishing relationships and communicating ideas internally and externally
  • proactive, willing to show initiative, and extremely organised
  • flexible and committed to being a key part of a small team, doing whatever needs to be done
  • desire to learn and grow
