Rock Townsend is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.

Part 2 architectural assistant with year out experience.

We are seeking a talented and motivated person to develop their career with us. Current projects cover a range of residential and education projects predominantly in London and the home counties.

You will be working as part of a team, where active participation in the design process is essential. We expect you to contribute thoughtfully and meaningfully to the project’s design development, shaping and refining the final outcome.

This is a full-time contract with an imminent start. We expect this to be a studio-based role, providing an environment where your contributions, learning, and collaboration can develop. While the company offers flexible working arrangements, this is project-dependent and at the discretion of the project lead and partners.

The studio operates a collaborative environment, with the Partners actively involved in all projects. You will be expected to confidently present your ideas and decisions to both your peers and the wider team. We work primarily in SketchUp and Revit, in both 2D and 3D, so proficiency in these programmes is advantageous. Strong presentation skills and an appreciation of good graphic design will also be beneficial.
