Role overview
As the accessories stock controller at Rose Uniacke, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire stock acquisition process and ensuring smooth inventory management. This role requires strong attention to detail, ideally with experience (though not essential) in the luxury interiors and accessories sector. This is a hybrid role, primarily office-based, where you will collaborate closely with your team and report directly to the head of logistics and purchasing.
Contract type: permanent
Hours: full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm
Location: 76-84 Pimlico Road, London SW1W 8PL
Experience: two to three years’ of experience in a relevant stock control role
Key responsibilities:
- supporting the head of logistics and purchasing with stock management, acquisitions, coordination
- maintaining and updating the stock database to ensure real-time inventory accuracy
- collaborating with the sales team to monitor web orders, ensuring stock availability and efficient fulfilment
- coordinating with couriers and logistics providers to manage the smooth and timely delivery of client orders
- overseeing warehouse stock control, optimising inventory levels, and reducing waste or overstocking
- updating and maintaining computer systems with accurate stock data for effective tracking and forecasting
- leading the annual stock take and implementing routine stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy
- analysing stock data and trends to support forecasting and strategic purchasing decisions
Skills required:
- located within a commutable distance from our Pimlico Road office or planning to relocate before starting
- strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- proven experience in a hands-on stock control role with a proactive approach
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency in Excel is essential, along with a good working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
