Rose Uniacke is seeking a head of marketing and customer engagement (maternity cover) to join its team in London.

Rose Uniacke is an award-winning modern luxury interior designer based in London, known for her range of contemporary interior designs, antique curation, and self-designed furniture, lighting, and fabrics. Rose’s designs are globally recognised for their unique ability to combine the old with the new, creating light-filled spaces.

Role overview

As the head of marketing and customer engagement at Rose Uniacke, you will be entrusted with overseeing and executing high-impact campaigns that elevate our brand positioning.

This role demands a seasoned marketing professional, ideally with an interest in interiors, architecture, antiques, and furniture design, capable of shaping and executing visionary marketing strategies that align with our brand identity and drive long-term business growth.

You will also be responsible for two direct reports – the website merchandiser and the customer contact data assistant. This is a hybrid role, primarily based in the office, and reports directly to the business development director.

Contract type: maternity cover. 1 April 2025 to 31 January 2026 with potential extension.

Hours: full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.

Location: 13 Radnor Walk, London, SW3 4BP, and other locations.

Experience: five plus years’ of experience in a relevant marketing role.

Key responsibilities:

  • deliver the website content plan roadmap, responsible for managing projects and activities to ensure the delivery of a high-performing website
  • lead the implementation of online growth and digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement and sales
  • agency management: work with our web agency, ensuring the output of key projects and initiatives
  • provide strategic guidance to the Website Merchandiser to ensure that the website is updated in line with stock availability, visually appealing, user friendly, optimised for conversion, and meets the commercial and seasonal needs of the company
  • execute the marketing calendar, ensuring consistency across all channels and seamless delivery to drive brand awareness, engagement and sales growth
  • execute our events strategy, managing events in our three showrooms, project managing, and ensuring all stakeholders are briefed
  • manage photography and content strategy for both projects and products
  • track and analyse marketing results to measure the success of marketing campaigns, and collaborate with the senior team to identify areas for improvement
  • build and manage relationships with strategic partners, including our external PR and social functions, by researching and executing partner projects
  • execute our customer engagement strategy to foster brand loyalty and drive repeat business. This includes developing and supporting the growth of target audiences, and creating and implementing targeted marketing campaigns directed at these audiences
  • manage our image library, responsible for sending out all images to the press, ensuring images are labelled correctly and that rights are observed.

Skills required:

  • located within a commutable distance from our office on Pimlico Road, or planning to relocate before starting work
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong relationships with design-world media
  • creative thinker with the ability to work collaboratively, developing strong ideas, concepts, and approaches
  • natural aptitude for identifying and pursuing opportunities
  • proven hands-on management skills of in-house talent and partner teams.
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • experience in, or a strong personal interest in, the worlds of interiors, architecture, antiques, and furniture design
  • significant digital and event management experience
  • knowledge of Magento is a bonus
