Sauerbruch Hutton is an international agency for architecture, urban planning and design. Founded in London in 1989, the office is now based in Berlin. The office’s most important resource is an experienced team of 120 employees, who work in an interconnected, democratic and interdisciplinary environment, sharing tasks and responsibilities in a process of intensive dialogue. As a dynamic and growing organization, we are looking for an assistant to strengthen our business development team.

These are your tasks:

  • active support in business development and office objectives
  • research of the relevant platforms and pre-selection of possible competitions
  • review and compilation of documents for acquisition investigations and competitions
  • professional implementation from layout to presentation file, both in German and English
  • prepare responses to RFQs/RFPs/RFIs
  • support in maintaining a general overview of business-related inquiries (including preparing status updates, maintenance of CRM and project databases)

What you bring with you:

  • degree in architecture, communication, design, art or marketing
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • a good graphic eye
  • team-oriented work and a high degree of personal responsibility
  • high readiness for action, quick comprehension and a precise and structured way of working
  • creative, committed, forward-looking, curious and open-minded
  • very good knowledge of German and English (bonus: French and/or Italian)
  • professional handling of the usual MS-Office applications
  • knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (focus on design)
