London, UK
Architect/Part 1 architectural assistant
at Scapolan Burney

Scapolan Burney is seeking an architect and a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its London studio.

The practice is friendly and design-focused, with the simple purpose of producing architecture we can be proud of, created with like-minded collaborators, that our clients can enjoy.  The studio works across residential, mixed-use, and workplace sectors.

We are seeking applications from talented architects and architectural assistants, seeking to become integral members of a small design-led studio working on some exciting projects at all work stages.  The ideal architect candidate will have a minimum of three years of professional experience working in the UK, while the ideal Part 1 will already have one year of professional experience in practice.

For both roles, knowledge of Vectorworks 2D/3D, InDesign, and Photoshop is required.  For the Part 1 role, experience of 3d modelling, physical model making, and the ability to help produce visualisations will be required.

The ideal candidates will be natural team players who can also work autonomously, with a strong interest in architecture and excellent communication skills.

Competitive salary, dependent upon experience.

If you would like to be considered, please submit your cover letter, digital CV, and concise portfolio of work examples in a single PDF file by clicking the ‘apply’ button below.  Please keep the total file size of your submission below 10Mb.

Whilst all applications will be reviewed, only shortlisted candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.  Unfortunately, it won’t be possible to respond to every applicant, but we wish to thank you for your interest in joining our studio and all the best with your search.
