Retail sales assistant
at SCP
SCP has an opportunity for a retail sales assistant to join its team in London.
This demanding position requires a talented individual who is comfortable and assured in dealing with high-end sales and developing strong relationships with clients. You will be based in our Shoreditch showroom and will deal with clients in person, via email and telephone.
The role:
- develop and maintain relationships with customers
- build a strong customer base and ensure that follow-ups are timely and considered
- manage the sale cycle effectively, from order to delivery and installation
- maintain in-depth brand and product knowledge to provide exceptional customer service
- work with the team to co-ordinate showroom and exhibition displays
- help maintain operational standards in the showroom
The person:
- ambition to develop a career in high-end furniture and lighting sales
- interest and knowledge of contemporary design
- ability to provide exceptional customer service
- experience with relaying product information
- aptitude to work independently
- excellent organisational skills
- personable and sociable
- available and willing to work weekends
- previous sales experience is desirable
Full-time: five days per week (Monday to Sunday, maximum one day per weekend)
London living wage.
