Sheppard Robson is seeking a business development, marketing and communications coordinator (BDMC) to join its team in London, UK.

Sheppard Robson is one of the UK’s most established architectural practices, with a reputation for thoughtful and responsible designs. Its London studio is seeking an energetic, creative and versatile business development marketing and communications (BDMC) coordinator to join its team.

The role is to be a key point of contact in the practice’s London office for delivering bids and communications projects – often working alongside the practice’s wider team in its Manchester and Glasgow offices.

The practice is open to receiving applications with a range of experience and recruiting for either a BDMC Coordinator or Senior BDMC Coordinator role.

Key tasks include assisting in:

  • collating and designing bid documents, presentations and related collateral for both architecture and interior design projects
  • updating the intranet, website and photography archive
  • organising photographic shoots
  • planning and delivering events
  • keeping marketing materials up to date
  • supporting the team with administrative tasks when necessary

Requirements:

  • at least two years’ experience in work-winning, marketing or a complementary field
  • experience in collating bid documents
  • confident using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
  • an interest in architecture and design
  • excellent attention to detail in both the visual and written form
  • ability to work effectively within a team, supporting Sheppard Robson’s collaborative culture and ways of working
  • a positive, can-do attitude that can balance creative work alongside more admin-based tasks
  • clear and confident communication skills
  • ability to keep calm under pressure and organised with methodical planning
  • disciplined time management
  • a degree or qualifications in a related subject is desirable but not essential
