Silveroc is seeking a construction manager to join its team in Zurich, Switzerland.

We are looking for a highly qualified construction manager to join our team for an exclusive villa development in Zurich, Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site supervision of the luxurious interior fit-out and renovation of this unique property.

The Silveroc Group consists of Silveroc Ltd and Silveroc Procurement Ltd and is wholly owned by the Jeannet Group, founded in 2007 by David, Boris, and François Jeannet. We specialise in real estate development with
a focus on two primary sectors: hospitality and residential development aimed mainly at the Swiss market. Expansion plans for the United Kingdom and France are scheduled for 2025. Your profile:

  • certified construction manager
  • deep expertise in the areas of construction, fit out, scheduling, cost planning and project management in accordance with eCC-BC/BCC (rough and detailed cost planning)/NPK
  • project and construction manager experience
  • calculating construction costs for new build and conversion projects in the residential and hotel property sector
  • digital 3D BOQ (bill of quantities) according to eCC-BC
  • preparation of cost analyses and evaluation of key indicators
  • leadership qualities and communication skills
  • ability to deal with conflict and work under pressure, solution-orientation
  • cost/quality awareness, excellent organisational and planning skills
  • quick learner, structured and independent way of working, team player – Entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour, sense of personal responsibility
  • good knowledge of Adobe Suite, MS Office, MS Project and Messerli BAUAD, BauPlus, Provis (or similar)
  • proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
  • confident manner, willing to travel

Your tasks:

  • realisation of building construction for areas of both new construction and conversions, hotel and residential properties
  • collaboration with architects, specialist planners, contractors and tradesmen
  • preparation of rough and detailed cost estimates and calculations as basis for further development according to eCC-BC/BCC (rough and detailed cost calculations)/NPK
  • digital 3D BOQ’s according to eCC-BC
  • preparation of cost analyses and evaluation of key indicators
  • analysing and comparing rough cost estimates and cost estimates from architects, specialist planners and contractors (if not done in-house)
  • reviewing and assessing planner and contractor potential change orders and proposals
  • comparing proposals and making recommendations
  • manage construction accounting
  • create payment plans
  • check invoices
  • check deliveries/services
  • monitor and manage construction work and oversee compliance with costs, deadlines and quality, environment and safety
  • negotiate with companies and suppliers
  • schedule and coordinate work preparations and draw up construction programme and schedules
  • manage construction, prepare dimensioning and invoices
