at Simon Ronan Landscape Architects
Simon Ronan Landscape Architects is hiring a business development lead and bids manager to join its team remotely.
Simon Ronan Landscape Architect (SRLA) is a growing international landscape architecture studio working on high-end hospitality, regenerative landscapes, public realm, and large-scale hotel projects in the Middle East, Europe and Ireland.
We are seeking an organised, proactive and creative business development and bids manager to support the next phase of SRLA’s growth.
This is a key role: working directly with the director and studio and operations manager to help fuel the studio’s project pipeline – through identifying opportunities, preparing bids, managing relationships, and supporting wider business development and communications efforts.
The role includes:
- managing and preparing bid submissions (InDesign, Word, online portals)
- tracking new business leads and opportunities (using HubSpot CRM)
Researching and identifying potential clients, collaborators, and project opportunities - coordinating project sheets, CVs, company information and insurances
- maintaining and developing the studio’s bid and marketing materials
- supporting the director with client follow-ups and outreach
- contributing ideas for awards, competitions, and wider marketing initiatives
- managing the studio’s CRM system
You’ll suit this role if you:
- have experience preparing bids, proposals and business development materials – ideally in architecture, landscape, or a related design discipline
- have an interest in and knowledge of the Architecture world.
- are highly organised and good at managing deadlines
- are a strong communicator — both written and visual
- are proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy helping a studio grow
- have a good grasp of professional business communications
- have a working knowledge of InDesign, Word and CRM tools (or are keen to learn)
The offer:
- a key role in a small, ambitious and design-led studio with an international outlook
- flexibility – hybrid working (we are mostly remote but with regular in-person sessions) ideally in Ireland or Europe time zone
- full-time or part-time – we are open to shaping the role around the right person
- salary based on experience, with scope for role to grow with the studioIf this sounds like you – or if you know someone who would be a great fit – we would love to hear from you.
