Interior designer
at SMC Design

SMC Design is looking or an interior designer to join its studio in London.

An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative interior designer to work on prestigious leisure projects in marine interior design. Must have experience in producing concept and detail packages, conceptual sketching, working with logo, signage and wayfinding design, digital packages, brand development and in house marketing collateral.

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Vectorworks, Illustrator and InDesign. Photoshop and web design skills are advantageous. Signwriter experience or knowledge of signage manufacturing is also a bonus.

Applicants must have a minimum of five years’ studio experience and client-facing experience is preferred, the ability to work on your own and as part of a team and must have strong written and spoken English skills. Office hours are 9am to 6pm with an hour for lunch, 40 hours a week, with occasional overtime where necessary.

Salary: £40-45k pa dependant on experience
