Soane Britain is hiring a sales support coordinator to join its office in London.
This is a new role that has been created to support our account managers as the sales and client base continues to grow for the UK and export furniture and lighting team. Due to the high quality of our workmanship and our complex production capabilities we need an experienced support role to project manage and process the pro-formas and client PO’s that the account managers bring in.
The role requires internal responsibilities with some client facing activities in order to deliver a really memorable Soane customer service. Using your knowledge of customer service and furniture and/or lighting you will act as a go between clients, sales, production and logistics. The challenge will be to build these multi layered relationships working in a busy, ever changing environment.
As a member of the sales support team you will be key to ensuring the Soane client is kept at the forefront of all decisions. The role will require you to be detail orientated, highly organised and able to multi- task. The successful candidate will also gain an in-depth knowledge of our designs and services.
Create proformas for all UK account managers and provide production with clear standard sales orders. Construct and send out weekly reports to the team.
Internal processes, finance
Work with the production and logistics team to review the sales order summary being the link between sales and production. Liaise with other departments such as finance to ensure they have all the information they need.
Provide an exceptional and efficient service to Soane clients (where applicable) at all times, the Soane experience should be unique and memorable.
Skills or qualities for the position:
- excellent knowledge and use of Excel and other Microsoft packages
- quick learner with an outstanding attention to detail
- appreciation of working in a luxury environment
- high standard of verbal and written communication
