About the role:
We are seeking an experienced project manager to oversee the development, fabrication and installation of a large-scale exhibition in Shenzhen. This role requires a professional adept at coordinating complex projects within the art and design sectors, ensuring seamless collaboration among artists, investors, museums and fabricators.
Key responsibilities:
Fabrication and manufacturing Coordination:
- identify and manage relationships with local and international fabricators and manufacturers
- oversee material sourcing and ensure alignment with the artistic vision and technical specifications
Project management:
- develop and maintain detailed project timelines and budgets
- monitor progress to prevent delays and ensure milestones are achieved
- provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Stakeholder liaison:
- serve as the primary contact for museum partners, ensuring all exhibition requirements are met
- facilitate effective communication between artists, investors, and museum representatives
Exhibition installation:
- plan and supervise the on-site assembly of the exhibition
- recruit and manage the installation team, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards
Qualifications:
- location: Based in Shenzhen or willing to relocate
- languages: Fluency in English and Mandarin
Experience:
- demonstrated success in managing art or design exhibitions or similar large-scale installations
- expertise in prototyping, fabrication, and material innovation
- proficiency in handling project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications
 Skills:
- exceptional organizational and communication abilities
- capacity to adapt and resolve issues in a dynamic, creative environment
- in-depth knowledge of design, art fabrication, and exhibition logistics
