Part 2 architectural assistant/architect

Stanesby Architecture is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant or an architect to join its growing London-based team.
We are looking for applied and talented people to work with us on bespoke design-led projects for our clients. The smaller nature of our practice means that successful candidates will have a broad range of involvement across all RIBA stages and will benefit from an open studio environment to learn and progress in their careers.
A minimum of one year post-Part 2 UK experience is required along with knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policy. You will be expected to demonstrate experience in design and construction detailing with a keen interest in working with existing and listed buildings. Previous on-site experience would be a benefit but is not essential.
The role will include both design and operational tasks, and we are looking for candidates with a high level of:
- CAD and IT skills (essential in Revit, proficient in Autocad/SketchUp/Adobe Suite)
- confidence with good communication and presentation skills
- self-motivation, punctuality and organisational capability
- ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- ability to complete tasks with accuracy, on time and with attention to detail
In addition, applicants must have:
- fluency in both written and spoken English
- proof of eligibility to work in the UK
