Stripe Consulting is looking for a design manager to join its team in Surrey, UK.
Stripe are a multi-disciplinary team who work on a very wide range of projects but have a specialism in public realm buildings and in particular car park buildings and transport hubs.
We work with national operators, large developers, local authorities, retailers and tier 1 contractors to design and help deliver a range of schemes.
We have been very successful in winning some very exiting projects recently and we think the time is right to grow our already fantastic and well-respected team to include a brilliant design manager.
The successful candidate would need a good knowledge of the design process stages one to five (principally architectural and structural but with an understanding of MEP) and be able to proactively co-ordinate a team (or teams) as well be client facing and generally be a positive contributor to Stripe’s offering to the UK construction market. You may be working as a design manager at present or in another role and looking to apply your skills in this area.
Salary will be subject to experience and potential value that the candidate will bring, but will be appropriate and fair. We also have a bonus scheme. A car can be incorporated into the package if required/desired.
Our projects are UK wide but generally projects are either run from or based in or around London.
Our head office is based near to Gatwick Airport (Horley), but depending on the candidate, remote working for some of the week is likely, with time mainly spit between DTM’s, internal meetings, or desk based management.
