Studio BANAA is hiring an architectural designer to join its team in San Francisco, USA.

Studio BANAA is seeking a creative and technically capable architectural designer with a minimum of three years’ of professional experience – ideally in commercial interiors or hospitality-focused work. This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys working across all project phases, values collaboration, and is excited about thoughtful, concept-driven design.

We are currently a fully remote architecture and interior design studio based in San Francisco, working primarily on café, restaurant, retail, and community-centered projects. While our operations are remote, we require all team members to be based in the Bay Area due to local project needs, site visits, and consultant coordination.

Qualifications:

• three plus years’ of experience in an architecture firm, preferably with a focus on hospitality or commercial interiors
• masters degree from an accredited university is preferred
• proficiency in Revit and SketchUp is required
• ability to produce drawing sets independently and collaborate with a small team
• strong hand sketching ability; experience with digital sketching (e.g., on iPad) is a plus
• comfortable working independently and communicating effectively in a remote setting
• must be currently located in the San Francisco Bay Area

What you’ll be doing:

• contribute to all phases of project development, from conceptual design and space planning through construction documentation and permitting
• work directly with clients, consultants, and contractors
• participate in internal design reviews and brainstorming sessions
• help develop thoughtful, well-detailed designs for spaces that are both beautiful and functional
