Studio McLeod is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant/qualified architect to join its team in London.

We are looking for a Part 2 architectural designer, with technical experience in a UK practice, who is motivated and has a passion for learning and crafting beautifully sculpted buildings. Architects may also apply and their salary would be adjusted up in accordance with experience. We are looking for someone who is interested in all aspects of the profession i.e. the interaction of design, making and people. You will be involved in all aspects of our projects: working on private residential remodelling and new build projects.
Required skills and experience

- UK private residential design
- material specification and detailing
- 3D modelling
- knowledge of UK building regulations and technical documentation
Preferred skills and experience
- quick to learn and adapt (systems and software)
- interest and understanding of how things go together
- clear communicator
- proactive and confident in both independent and team work
- skilled in producing sketch, presentation and technical drawings
- good presentation and time management skills
- ability to become proficient in Vectorworks within four weeks
- proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Word, Excel and hand sketching
