Specified by the world’s most renowned interior designers and architects, our products are at the heart of transformative interiors across the globe. As our business continues to grow rapidly across international markets, we are looking for a product designer to join our London-based team.

About the role

You will play a key role in the design and development of new and existing product ranges, working closely with our founder and chief designer and technical teams. The role demands both creativity and rigour – combining aesthetic sensitivity with mechanical understanding.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in design (ideally in metal) and experience in either bathroom fittings, ironmongery, or architectural hardware. You’ll be designing products that are both functional and beautiful, and contributing directly to the Studio Ore design language.

Requirements:

• degree in product or industrial design (or closely related field)
• minimum two years’ experience in a design or product development role
• experience working with metals – ideally brass – and an understanding of fabrication processes
• ideally experienced in CREO software (or willing and able to transfer existing 3D CAD skills to CREO)
• a strong eye for detail and proportion, with the ability to develop ideas from sketch through to production
• hands-on, proactive and highly organised – able to manage projects independently
• passionate about design and materials, and excited to grow within a fast-paced and growing design-led company
