at Studio PDP
Studio PDP is seeking Japanese-speaking architects and interior designers to join its team in Hong Kong.
Studio PDP is an international architecture and interior design firm with studios in London and Hong Kong. The Hong Kong studio has a portfolio of acclaimed and award-winning architecture and interior design projects in residential, hospitality, and mixed development throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Quality of design is at the core of the practice, together with a collaborative approach and a high level of technical expertise upheld by our internationally diverse team. Our projects are innovative, highly resolved and carefully delivered on-site.
We are currently seeking junior to mid-level designers to support our expanding team on design-led hospitality and residential projects in Japan and Hong Kong.
Successful candidates will be talented, quick to learn and proactive, have good conceptual, design and presentation skills and enjoy working in an international and creative environment.
Requirements:
- degree in architecture or interior architecture, or equivalent
- fluent English and Japanese speaking and writing. Native Japanese speaker is a positive but not required.
- skilled in 2D drafting and 3D modelling
- strong InDesign/Photoshop skills
- excellent interpersonal, verbal and graphical communication skills
- strong ability to work independently in a responsible and self-motivated manner
- excellent team-working and organisational skills
Desirable experience:
- working knowledge of architectural drawing and detailing
- proficiency using Mac and Vectorworks experience
- experience in residential and hospitality projects, including preparing mood boards and materials
- ability to start work at short notice
