We’re Studio Saar, a dynamic Anglo-Indian practice with studios in the UK and India. We’re looking for a senior architect to join our team in Frome, Somerset, UK. The studio was voted Dezeen ‘Emerging Architect of the Year 2024’ and is passionate about creating innovative, sustainable and culturally resonant designs. We see every project as an opportunity to address environmental challenges while empowering communities. We’re searching for a talented senior architect who shares our enthusiasm for design excellence, sustainability and the art of making.
Do you have:
- a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams across the UK and India
- excellent leadership and project management skills
- the ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors
- a flexible and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to travel to India
- a passion for model making and hand sketching
- critical thinking, conceptual rigour and a proactive work ethic
- a deep understanding of UK planning and regulatory frameworks
- open-mindedness, enthusiasm and, most importantly, a sense of humour
