Studio Verve is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
About Studio Verve
We are a RIBA chartered architecture and interior design practice working on an exciting range of projects. We provide architectural and interior design services on projects ranging from architectural scenography, residential, mix-use and deep retro-fit warehouse-living.
About the role
We are looking for a talented, energetic and motivated individual with strong design and people skills and a commitment to sustainability. You will work on a range of projects across residential and deep retro-fit warehouse living and ideally you will bring some relevant experience.
Experience on residential projects is required with the ability to work independently and in a small team. Taking responsibility for projects and supporting the Directors, the role will encompass all RIBA stages, working with clients from concept through to completion. Experience is required in running meetings, design coordination, technical and detailed drawing, and on-site delivery.
Key skills and experience:
- RIBA Part 2 qualification with a minimum of two years relevant experience in the UK residential sector
- working experience in RIBA work stages 2 to 5 (stages 4 and 5 are essential)
- collaborative and thoughtful approach to design
- excellent design skills, creativity and attention to detail
- excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English
- excellent presentation skills
- knowledge of UK building regulations and planning.
- outstanding technical knowledge & detailed drawing ability
- proficiency in working with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
- proficiency in 3D modelling and rendering packages
- excellent organisational and time-management skills
- eligible to live and work in the UK
