FF&E coordinator
at Studiomacbride

StudioMacBride is seeking an FF&E coordinator to join its team in Berlin, Germany.

StudioMacBride is a multi-disciplinary design studio based in Berlin, working internationally across interior architecture, design, and creative consulting to shape distinctive, sensorial spaces and experiences. We work exclusively within the luxury and premium hospitality sectors, creating bespoke interiors, FF&E, and narratives for standout brands, hoteliers and chefs.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and culturally attuned FF&E coordinator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the value of detail and craftsmanship, and who can help bring our creative visions to life across global projects.

The role

As FF&E coordinator, you’ll lead sourcing, development, and procurement of FF&E packages from concept to installation, across a range of international interior projects. You’ll work closely with our creative director and wider design team to deliver exceptional outcomes while contributing to the studio’s material sensibility, supplier relationships, and operational precision. You’ll also be instrumental in growing a small FF&E team within the studio over time.

What we are looking for:

  • at least three years’ experience in a similar FF&E coordination or procurement role, ideally within the hospitality, restaurant, or leisure sectors
  • proven working knowledge of commercial interior design projects, particularly FF&E selections, scheduling, materials and finishes and procurement logistics
  • strong experience liaising with suppliers and manufacturers in a professional and proactive way
  • a solid network of existing supplier relationships, plus a curiosity and drive to discover new ones (from artisans to established luxury brands)
  • highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage your own workflow and contribute positively to a collaborative studio environment
  • exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project timelines
  • proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Google Sheets for FF&E boards, layouts and schedules
  • a refined design sensibility and thorough knowledge of luxury materials, finishes, and contemporary design culture
  • fluent English; (German is not required) French, Italian and Spanish is a bonus

Responsibilities:

  • lead FF&E sourcing, sampling, and specification across international hospitality and interior projects
  • create and manage detailed FF&E schedules, costings, and procurement trackers
  • prepare, issue and manage instructions to manufacturers and subcontractors
  • maintain and expand supplier and materials databases, including physical materials library
  • provide input on suitable FF&E options during concept development and project planning
  • liaise with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery and installations
  • monitor quality control throughout development and on-site phases
  • support the Creative Director and design team in all FF&E-related aspects of project delivery
  • respond quickly to any ad hoc FF&E issues, questions or changes during the course of a project

What we offer:

  • a four-day work week (32 hours) with flexible hours and hybrid working
  • a creative, progressive and supportive studio culture where everyone’s voice is valued
  • the opportunity to work on ambitious, globally recognised design projects
  • clear paths for growth and leadership within a collaborative team
  • exposure to international hospitality clients and high-profile creative collaborations
  • salary starting at €30,000+ depending on experience
