London, UK
Project architect
at Szczepaniak Teh
Szczepaniak Teh is seeking a project architect to join its team in London.
Szczepaniak Teh is looking for a talented and ambitious Architect (three to five years’ post-Part 3) to join our warm, collaborative studio in the heart of Soho, London.
We’re a small multidisciplinary practice working at the intersection of architecture, interiors, and branding – crafting immersive, sensory-rich environments that help people feel better, connect more deeply, and live more intentionally. Our global portfolio spans wellness, hospitality, and lifestyle, with projects ranging from a 55-acre rural wellness hotel and private members’ club, to an international barbershop brand, a children’s theatre, a healthcare training academy, and immersive spatial installations across the UK, Middle East, and USA.
We’re seeking someone who shares our passion for storytelling through space and materials – someone eager to explore, contribute, and grow. You’ll be trusted with responsibility from day one and exposed to all project stages, from concept through to delivery. On-site experience is essential for this role.
What we’re looking for:
- a qualified architect with three to five years’ post-Part 3 experience
- outstanding design sensibility and visual communication skills – including hand drawing
- confidence in developing and detailing technical packages, specifications, and schedules
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite (Revit is a bonus)
- the ability to develop ideas quickly across various media
- a keen eye for materiality, atmosphere and narrative
- experience running projects ranging from £200k to £7m, with an interior architecture focus
- strong client-facing and consultant coordination skills
- a collaborative spirit – comfortable leading a small team and mentoring junior colleagues as our studio grows
- self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to manage workload and priorities independently
- experience in the hospitality, wellness, healthcare, and lifestyle sectors – and working with brands – is highly desirable
What we offer:
- a dynamic and nurturing studio environment where creativity and experimentation are encouraged
- exposure to meaningful, design-led projects that span scales and typologies
- the opportunity to shape a growing studio and mentor junior team members
- opportunities to travel abroad for international projects
- mentoring and training by a qualified and experienced coach
- pension contributions
If you’re excited by the idea of crafting spaces that stir the senses, build emotional connection, and tell compelling stories — we’d love to hear from you.
