T-Space Architecture & Engineering is hiring an architectural technologist to join its team in London.

T-Space is a niche bespoke residential practice, based in Wanstead North-East London, that work on stunning bespoke projects typically located in conservation areas. Schemes are a hybrid of high-end existing and new build projects.

Job description
This role will require solid experience working on technical construction residential detailing, ideally with proven examples of working on bespoke high end residential work. The right candidate should be able to deliver projects from conception to completion, with a thorough knowledge of construction detailing and UK building regulations. Candidates must be capable of working independently and managing their own time and deadlines – it is a team environment, however, you will be managing your own workload.
Requirements:
- a degree or equivalent qualification in architectural technology or a related field (CIAT certified desirable)
- a minimum of three years’ experience working in the UK residential and/or commercial sectors in a similar role
- proficiency working in Vectorworks is a bonus or industry software equivalent
- a well-rounded individual with the ability to produce detailed, compliant building regulation drawing packages, demonstrating a flexible all-round skill set capable of producing and managing early-stage information in addition to more detailed stages
- a thorough understanding of UK building regulations, technical design standards and legislation, as well as the ability to obtain and use new materials and embrace modern methods of construction
- a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members, as well as liaising effectively with consultants, clients and contractors, both in person and remotely
- possess the ability to review and coordinate incoming technical information and resolve issues accordingly
- present a portfolio of work that clearly demonstrates the qualities in a candidate that we are seeking
- exceptional organisational, verbal and written communication skills with a fluency in English
