UK showroom and marketing executive
at Tai Ping Carpets

International luxury brand Tai Ping is looking for a new UK showroom sales and marketing executive to join the team in London.

A highly organised individual, who is passionate about luxury interior design and is ready to take on new commercial and creative challenges. A unique opportunity to combine both sales and marketing, this exciting full-time role will involve being responsible for retail sales together with developing, coordinating and implementing marketing initiatives in the UK.

The successful candidate’s principal responsibilities will be to:

  • achieve sales targets which are set annually
  • be the first point of contact for showroom visitors, provide guidance to retail customers on products, create quotes and manage the lifecycle of retail sales orders
  • contribute to showroom inventory selection in order to meet market needs (prices, sizes, colours, designs etc.)
  • merchandise the showroom inventory, display materials and window designs on a predetermined schedule in order to drive aspiration and steady foot traffic
  • develop and execute marketing activities that contribute to consumer and trade sales
  • manage UK marketing budget
  • travel may be required, such as Paris and Milan to support marketing activities and trade fairs

The marketing activities include but are not limited to:

  • London showroom events and trade fairs
  • branded sales tools and merchandise
  • tailored client newsletters
  • content for social media, including reels, stories and posts
  • advertising strategies, photo shoots and copy for press releases, in partnership with our UK PR agency
  • upkeep of the UK e-shop, including layout, content, pricing and imagery
  • understanding the local competitive landscape e-shop


For this position, we will require the candidate to have two-plus years of experience in a similar position within the luxury interior market and a good knowledge of the interior design and decoration industry.

In addition, the job will require the following qualities:

  • creative, dynamic and proactive
  • objectives and business development-oriented
  • highly organised and self-motivated
  • excellent communication skills, with a very good level of English
  • able to work independently and within a team, as well as collaboratively with external organisations
  • sense of diplomacy and team player
  • problem-solving and reliable
  • ability to use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • ability to manage social media platforms (content management, basic copywriting etc.)
