Architect/architectural technician – commercial experience

TateHindle is looking to employ a recently qualified architect or architectural technician with commercial experience to join its team in London.
We are an award-winning architecture and design practice based in Shoreditch. We currently have a vacancy for a skilled architect or architectural technician with proven expertise in commercial retrofit and fit-out projects to join our team – additional experience in mixed-use developments is highly desirable.
The role involves supporting the Project Associate and project team on several commercial projects currently on-site in London, working across all stages of design and construction, from concept design through to construction, installation, and handover. In additional to excellent design and communication skills, the successful candidate would have proven Revit experience and Adobe Creative Suite.

The successful candidate must have:
- experience in the development of office design concepts
- proven design and detailing expertise, working directly within a 3D BIM environment
- experience with liaison with contractors, other consultants and the wider project team
- understanding of the planning process in the UK
- good and current knowledge of UK building regulations
- excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- keen interest in current and emerging trends across the commercial/office market
- high levels of team spirit with a collaborative and positive approach
