TateHindle is currently looking for an experienced project architect with commercial experience to join the team in London.
We are an award-winning architecture and design practice based in London. We work with high-profile clients and have completed many interesting and challenging projects across a variety of sectors. Our portfolio includes innovative new builds and the sensitive restoration of listed buildings. We create spaces that inspire people to work, learn and create; we establish sustainable communities and design beautiful buildings for everyone to enjoy.
We have a vacancy for an experienced architect (approximately five plus year’s experience), with strong job running experience. The role will involve supporting the project associate and overseeing the project team in delivering a number of large-scale commercial projects in central London.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and development of commercial office projects, from concept design through to construction, installation, and project handover, with a focus on sustainable commercial design. They will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the project, managing the project team, and providing guidance and direction to junior members.
In additional to excellent design and communication skills, the successful candidate should have proven Revit experience and Adobe Creative Suite.
The successful candidate must have:
- experience in the development of design concepts and presenting to clients
- excellent design skills
- proven technical detailing expertise, working directly within a 3D BIM environment
- experience in day-to-day project coordination, working closely with consultants and the wider project team
- solid understanding of the planning process in the UK
- experience in delivering tender and construction packages
- excellent and current knowledge of UK building regulations
- excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- keen interest in current and emerging trends across the commercial/office market/retrofit
- high levels of team spirit with a collaborative and positive approach
