TateHindle is seeking a talented, motivated and committed senior urban designer to join our growing team in London.

In this role, you will work closely with the director and associate across a range of project scales – from city-scale masterplans and town centre regenerations to sustainable urban extensions and entirely new settlements.
The ideal candidate will bring approximately six to eight years’ of experience in architecture and urban design, along with a strong design portfolio, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software, making this opportunity perfect for those looking to broaden their expertise and take on high-profile, forward-thinking projects.
The right candidate should meet the below criteria:
- collaborative approach to design
- confident in client-facing environments and stakeholder/public engagement
- ability to manage internal and consultant teams/coordinate information on several projects
- experience at all project scales; from strategic masterplanning to individual plot layouts
- the ability to work on all aspects of a project; whether managing, CAD drawing, 3D modelling, sketching, or compiling and writing reports/presentations
- excellent sketching ability
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- experience of preparing outline and detailed planning applications
- experience of preparing design codes
- proficiency with Revit and the Adobe Suite
