Tom Faulkner is hiring a marketing and communications manager to join its team in London.
Tom Faulkner is an award-winning creative business which makes beautiful and distinctive furniture. We have workshops in Wiltshire and showrooms in London and New York. In addition, we are represented in several showrooms in North America and one in Japan.
We are looking for a dynamic and creative marketing and communications manager to join the team. This is a new and exciting opportunity for anybody who is passionate about marketing and has an interest in design and the world of interiors.
Overview
As marketing manager, you will report to the founder and CEO of the business, and be responsible for organising and overseeing all of our marketing and comms activities – from social media to photographic shoots.
Key responsibilities:
- making, planning and executing the marketing plan for the business
- working closely and creatively with our UK and US PR teams and our partner showrooms
Managing:
- social media, website (including SEO), newsletters, advertising, influencer marketing etc.
- exhibitions
- showroom events for press and consumers
- all marketing/sales collateral
- press releases
- photoshoots – choosing photographers and locations and managing art director
- digital content and brochure
- analysing marketing data
- ensuring all content is consistent with our brand
- design and follow a reporting framework
- work closely with teams in London and the workshop in Wiltshire
Skills/experience required
- three plus years experience in a similar role
- thorough understanding of marketing principles and practices
- creative thinking
- Adobe creative suite
- thorough understanding of social media
- a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- management skills
- excellent IT skills
- strong copywriting skills with a good understanding of the company’s tone of voice
- strong organisational and communication skills
