Social media and marketing executive
at Toogood
Toogood is hiring a social media and marketing executive to join its team in London.
Toogood is one of London’s leading fashion and furniture brands. The studio designs and manufactures artisanal, sculptural products across furniture, homeware accessories and contemporary clothing, as well as providing bespoke interior design services for commercial and residential projects.
We are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented marketing executive to join our tight-knit team and work across all areas of the business. Combining creativity with an analytical approach, the perfect candidate will understand our unique product and the suitable approaches to market it effectively within the luxury fashion, furniture and interiors industries. This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward our social media strategy and collaborate with our in-house teams and external partners to produce outstanding content and develop our marketing output. We’re looking for someone who has an appetite for growth and is keen to contribute new ideas, whilst providing valuable support to keep things running smoothly at Toogood.
Responsibilities
Content planning and creation:
- manage the studio’s main social media platforms (Instagram, Linkedin, Pinterest)
- create and manage the social content calendar, planning and executing our priority initiatives throughout the year for both organic and paid social
- create innovative and engaging visual and written content for all social channels, holistically representing the Toogood brand across all departments – furniture, homeware, interiors and clothing
- oversee community engagement – answer DMs and commenting regularly to increase engagement in real time
- work closely with the e-commerce manager to align marketing content with the messaging requirements for e-commerce
- develop an excellent awareness and knowledge of company activities and product ranges
General management:
- update and maintain the marketing calendar, project status sheet and content calendar
- responsible for the image management filing and naming images appropriately
- update and maintain the studio’s press and community sheets as well as our CRM database
- archive all press that the studio receives
Production:
- work with the marketing team to produce high quality content from in-house and external shoots, ensuring best practice use of platform product attributes
- support in the production of all photography or moving image shoots across both fashion and furniture; sourcing photographers, styling, and casting
Advertising:
- plan, create, implement, and optimise all paid media campaigns on Meta business suite
- analyse campaign performance data and provide actionable insights and recommendations based on these findings
Data reporting and analysis:
- responsible for setting up and managing a robust reporting structure for organic and paid KPIs across all of the studio’s social platforms, gathering actionable insights to optimise future campaigns
- audit and analyse Toogood’s email performance on a seasonal basis, and come up with actionable insights for both campaign emails and more general flow emails
Community, press and PR:
- assist in developing VIP/ ambassador initiatives, including gifting
- help plan events held by the studio such as press days, open house weeks, and A&D events
- be the first point of contact for press requests, collating publishable materials, assets and interview answers for journalists to deadline.
- manage all press loan requests – packing of the pieces requested, tracking the pieces, booking courier, etc.
Skills and experience:
- minimum two years experience in a design studio or in a similar role
- proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) Microsoft Office Suite
- quick thinking and problem-solving mindset
- excellent design skills
