Part 3 architect, Part 2 and Part 1 architectural assistants

Unknown Works is seeking a Part 3 architect, Part 2 and Part 1 architectural assistants to join its team in London.

Unknown Works is an award-winning design and research studio working within and beyond the realms of architecture. The studio works at all scales, from the creation of cultural and commercial buildings to residential projects, urban design, and infrastructure projects.

We are looking for driven and dedicated designers to join the team on a number of cultural, commercial, and residential projects at various stages from concept and technical design to on-site construction.

The following roles are required:

  • Part 3 architect
  • Part 2 architectural assistant
  • Part 1 architectural assistant

We require Part 3 applicants to have:

  • experience of project leadership and management
  • experience delivering tender information and details to British building regulations
  • excellent presentation skill
  • fluency in Revit
  • on-site/construction experience
  • excellent organisational skills
  • at least two years’ post-Part 3 practice experience is preferred
  • ability to work closely on every aspect of the project from concept design, contract documentation and construction phases

We require Part 2 applicants to have:

  • experience delivering tender information and details to British building regulations
  • excellent presentation skills
  • excellent organisational skills
  • fluency in Revit
  • on-site/construction experience

We require Part 1 applicants to have:

  • excellent design capability, strong communication, a willingness to learn
  • excellent presentation skills
  • excellent organisational skills

All applicants should have:

  • proficiency in Adobe Suite (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • proficiency in Rhino/CAD
  • applicants must be based in London

We offer comprehensive training and mentorship to navigate the technical and practical aspects of project delivery. Applicants will work closely with company directors and you’ll contribute to all project phases, from conceptualisation to client management. With opportunities for hands-on site work and international projects.
