Vabel is looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its studio in London, UK.

Vabel is a collective of designers, project managers and contractors who specialise in the creation and delivery of design led residential developments. We unify the creative, technical and financial aspects of projects into a streamlined, cohesive process to deliver groundbreaking developments.

The role will involve working on prominent mixed-use projects in central London from conception through to completion. The candidate should have strong design, communication and management skills and be passionate about materials and how buildings are crafted. Experience working on multi-unit residential schemes and a sound understanding of interior architecture would be an advantage.

The role would suit candidates who are passionate about working within a multidisciplinary company and those with an interest in the wider aspects of development.

Key skills and experience:

• RIBA Part 2 or equivalent qualification, preferably with experience working on residential and mixed-use projects
• demonstrate excellent design, 3D visualisation and presentation skills utilising Sketchup/Rhino and Enscape
• experience in Archicad desirable
• excellent communication skills
• knowledge of UK building regulations and planning policy
• an understanding of typical construction concepts and ability to produce clear documentation to convey ideas to the wider team
