Studio assistant

Veretec is hiring a studio assistant to join its team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for a studio assistant to join our award-winning executive architecture studio. We are part of Aukett Swanke Group Plc, a unique fast-growing AIM listed architecture and smart buildings organisation.
At Veretec we specialise in project delivery with expertise in providing detailed technical solutions. We work with architects, contractors and developers to give shape to project ambitions and to translate design concepts into beautiful, sustainable and functional buildings.
We are currently seeking a candidate to provide general office administration and support to the studio and management in the production of communications and project related materials, including marketing, graphics and event planning.
In this varied and exciting role you will assist with:
- business development targets
- project bid documentation and other presentation style documents
- marketing and communications
- organise external and internal events
- social Media, website and intranet content
- monitor and submit industry awards applications
- client care, new business and public relations assistance
- assist with digital marketing activities, supporting the marketing and communications manager
- graphic design, desktop publishing and video editing, working with external agencies
- ensure brand guidelines are adhered to
- diary management
- general studio duties (including occasional reception cover)
- an understanding of document control/project information platforms (training will be provided)
Desired skills:
- advanced MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Adobe
- graphic design: InDesign and Photoshop are a significant advantage
- knowledge of CMS software such as WordPress
The person:
- ideally a degree in English language or similar
- Photoshop/InDesign experience desired
- previous experience of at least two years in an admin or similar role
