Intern/junior furniture designer

We Make Extraordinary Objects is hiring an intern and/or a junior furniture designer to join its team in Essex, UK.
Hard requirements:
- 3D CAD skills to a good standard, both visually and precision-wise; must be able to import and export to all the usual file formats for digital production
- must have a strong interest and some experience in designing for manufacture and also making things with their own hands
- must have their own car to travel to work in Harlow, Essex
Soft requirements:
- hands-on and practical
- methodical
- detail-oriented
- unfussy and resilient
- good email and phone skills (to communicate with manufacturers)
- a sense of humour
Location:
- Harlow CM17 9GD
Salary:
- intern: £80/day
- junior: dependent on experience
