Weston Williamson + Partners is looking for a Revit architect/senior architect to join its team in London and Manchester, UK.
WW+P are looking for a talented and ambitious architects or architectural designers to join our growing London or Manchester studios, working on some of the world’s highest-profile infrastructure and masterplanning projects.
We are an award-winning, international architectural and urban design studio. Our ethos of working collaboratively to create and connect sustainable places for people and influence the many sectors we specialise in which include the creation of innovative transport infrastructure, high-quality residential and mixed-use spaces.
Our studio is structured to facilitate a culture of innovation and exemplary design whilst building upon our 35 plus years’ of experience, to deliver successful projects.
We are looking for a talented, ambitious and committed individual to join our studio to support design teams in using BIM tools and workflows as the central part of each project.
Positions are available for the right candidates, with fantastic opportunities for growth and career advancement, with the following credentials:
- three plus years’ of post-qualification experience in practice
- advanced Revit skills are essential – a deep understanding of Revit’s interface, tools, and capabilities is essential. This includes knowledge of creating and managing 3D models, families and components
- highly creative and design-orientated with a keen eye for technical detailing.
- interest in working internationally, in particular on projects located in the Middle East
- through knowledge of UK BIM protocols and standards: Understanding the principles of Building Information Modelling (BIM) is crucial. Knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices, including familiarity with industry standards like ISO 19650
- visualisation skills: the ability to create visual representations of buildings and infrastructure that can be easily understood by non-technical stakeholders using Enscape
- proficiency in BIM Software: Navisworks, Dynamo and Autodesk Construction Cloud experience is an advantage
- Grasshopper experience is an advantage.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- a great team player with a positive attitude and ability to adapt within fast-paced environments
