Joining our small and friendly in-house marketing team, you will help to provide graphic design support for the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a team player with an eye for detail and an openness to new and fresh ways of working. The work is diverse, with plenty of opportunity for creativity. We often work collaboratively to develop creative design solutions to help communicate our brand and values. Equally, you’ll be encouraged to take initiative and to manage your own workload effectively within a supportive environment.
Role and responsibilities:
- be a brand ambassador, working within and evolving the Whitby Wood brand guidelines
- day-to day graphic design support for a range of digital and print materials including project sheets, award entries, bid/tender documents, presentations and display materials
- creating bespoke digital visual content for our website, social media, intranet as well as other one-off campaigns and projects as required
- support for staff on brand and guidelines, including InDesign and PowerPoint templates
- management of our image and digital assets
- work with the head of marketing to ensure the quality and accuracy of work
Criteria:
- a qualification in graphic design or equivalent
- three plus years’ experience
- proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and MS Office (Word and PowerPoint)
- experience with Adobe After Effects/Premiere Pro/Express would be advantageous

Salary range: £32,000 to £36,000 per annum with pension, PMI, life assurance and income protection.
