Part 3 architect
at White Arkitekter

White Arkitekter is seeking a Part 3 architect to join its team in London.

Would you like to join a strong team of architects, urban designers and landscape architects who, with a sense of form and empathy, drive the development of sustainable design? We have an opportunity for you to grow with us!

White Arkitekter, founded in 1951 in Gothenburg, is one of Scandinavia’s leading architectural practices with around 600 employees. The London studio, established in 2015, focuses on sustainable urban masterplans, affordable housing, healthcare and cultural buildings, blending Scandinavian expertise with UK needs, focusing on enabling sustainable life through intelligent, holistic design. In 2023 we won Dezeen Awards “Architect of the year.” We were awarded for being “a leading voice in the drive towards more sustainable buildings.”

The London studio has been operating for 10 years and in that time we have been working with sustainable urban design, residential design, healthcare design, wellbeing, landscape and placemaking.

We are seeking a Part 3 architect to work collaboratively within the London team. We are looking for someone to take responsibility for delivering detailed design and tender packages for large scale residential and healthcare projects, reporting to and working closely with the project architect and project director.

A demonstrable track record of taking responsibility for accuracy and checking the drawing work as well as coordinating drawings amongst the team and other disciplines is essential. Systematic thinking is essential as the role demands handling complex information, interpreting design intent into efficient modelling and drawing production strategy.

The role would suit someone experienced in design, technical work and delivery who can form part of a project team and assist in developing junior staff through coaching and checking their work. The individual needs to be keen to learn and develop their career and enjoy working collaboratively with others to meet deadlines and achieve project objectives.
