Will Gamble Architects is hiring an experienced project architect to join its team in London.
Will Gamble Architects are looking for a personable, thoughtful, enthusiastic applicant, with acute attention to detail and an excellent work ethic.
The applicant must have at least three years’ experience within the UK design-led residential sector post qualification (Part 3). Their experience must cover the design and delivery of both architecture and interiors. They must have excellent technical design skills and on-site experience, they must have performed the role of contract administrator on several occasions. Good communication and management skills with contractors, clients and consultants is also considered highly valuable. They will need to be well organised, intuitive and proactive. They must be detail driven and have a passion for working with historic and listed buildings.
Will Gamble Architects is a multidisciplinary design practice with a number of exciting projects throughout the UK. Our work is particularly focussed on heritage buildings, as well as projects within challenging contexts that inspire thoughtful and creative architecture. We are best known for sensitively blending the contemporary with the historic.
The role
With the support of the Director, you will be responsible for running design-led residential projects from concept design through to completion. This will include driving projects through the various stages of the design process, as well as managing and delivering those projects on site.
