London, UK
Project architect
at XUL Architecture
XUL Architecture is hiring a project architect to join its team in London.
At XUL Architecture, we believe great design has the power to transform lives. Our work is guided by the principles of neuroarchitecture – creating spaces that enhance well-being, comfort, and functionality. We push boundaries, combining creativity and technical expertise to design homes that feel as good as they look.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Project Architect to join our team. If you’re a talented, ambitious architect with a passion for thoughtful design and experience across all RIBA stages, we’d love to hear from you. We are looking for an architect with at least five years experience running high-end private residential projects in the UK with construction costs between £500k and £5M.
The role
As a project architect at XUL, you’ll play a key role in shaping innovative, human-centred designs from concept through to completion. You’ll be working on a variety of projects, bringing fresh ideas and ensuring our designs meet both aesthetic and functional goals. You’ll lead projects, engage with clients, and collaborate with our close-knit team to deliver exceptional spaces.
What we’re looking for:
- creative thinker – you have strong design skills and a keen eye for detail
- experience across RIBA stages – confidently lead projects from early concept to completion
- technical know-how – comfortable producing detailed construction drawings and coordinating with consultants
- client-facing and collaborative – you enjoy working with people and can communicate ideas effectively
- leadership skills – experience mentoring and guiding junior team members
- software proficiency – skilled in AutoCAD (not using BIM at the moment but want to implement it soon, so someone with experience would be beneficial)
- passion for Neuroarchitecture – a strong interest in how design affects human behaviour and well-being. Ongoing training will be provided
