Role overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated architectural or interior design student or recent graduate to join our team as a 3DsMax Visualiser. Your primary responsibility will be to create high-quality visualisations using 3DsMax to bring our interior design concepts to life. We are looking for someone who is confident in their 3D visualisation skills and able to work efficiently under pressure, delivering high-quality visuals within tight project timelines.
While visualisation is your core focus, you will also gain broad exposure to the entire interior design process – from specifications to technical design, material selection, and supplier engagement. This is a hands-on, in-studio role offering meaningful learning, real project exposure, and close collaboration with suppliers, senior designers and directors.
Key responsibilities:
- produce detailed, realistic 3D visualisations of interior design schemes using 3DsMax
- interpret moodboards, plans, and architectural layouts into compelling visuals
- collaborate with the design team to translate project requirements into 3D spatial concepts
- assist with specification development
- contact and liaise with suppliers to understand product ranges, pricing, and availability
- attend internal meetings and contribute to design discussions
Qualifications:
- currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an architectural or interior design programme
- strong passion for 3D visualisation and a high level of proficiency in 3DS Max
- a portfolio that demonstrates creativity, material understanding, and visual style
- attention to detail, willingness to learn, and an interest in both the visual and technical aspects of design
- previous experience is not essential – we prioritise potential and portfolio quality above formal work history
Recruitment process
Our selection process is designed to identify candidates whose natural style, passion for design and thinking align with our studio’s approach. It consists of three stages:
1. informal chat
If your portfolio is selected for the first round, we’ll schedule a short conversation to understand your interests, availability, and expectations for the internship, as well as to discuss the projects included in your portfolio.
2. visualisation assignment
You will be asked to complete a short, unpaid test assignment to showcase your ability to interpret a moodboard and reflect our design style through visualisation.
3. presentation interview
Selected candidates will be invited to present their concept to our team and the directors. This is your opportunity to walk us through your design thinking, process, and visual approach.
Upon completing the six-month internship, candidates who demonstrate strong skills and alignment with our design ethos may be considered for a Junior Visualiser role within the team.
