Moreno Masey is looking for a hospitality-focused architect to join its team in London.
We create exceptional spaces through thoughtful, technical and responsible architecture.
Moreno Masey is an award-winning design led architecture and interiors practice. We have a passion for contemporary, responsible design and work on bespoke hospitality, residential and commercial projects at varied scales across London and the UK. We are currently working both remotely and from our office in Working From_Southwark.
We are looking for a talented and committed architect, working independently and with a project architect on bespoke hospitality projects.
Responsibilities will include:
- generating creative design at all stages of project
- preparing technical design and specification information for construction
- integrating responsible design and ethos into existing and new projects
- contributing to design and technical workshops for all projects
- managing information packages with responsibility for end-to-end delivery and integration into the project
- bringing new ideas and energy into the company through self-directed research and curiosity for excellence in the built environment
- reporting and providing feedback to the internal and external project team
- identifying project risks during the architectural process
- maintaining careful custody of the client brief and company vision for projects in all aspects of the architectural process
- looking for opportunities to increase efficiencies and improve processes across the business
- managing and fostering strong, productive relationships with clients, consultants and contractor teams
Successful applicants will:

- have a thorough working knowledge and experience of all RIBA work stages”
- have a keen interest in high levels of design and detail
- proficient in MS Office, InDesign, Photoshop and Vectorworks (with 3D/ BIM experience a plus)
We use a pay formula to determine pay at Moreno Masey. We take median London rates for the role from the RIBA Benchmarking Survey from the previous year and adjust for inflation, rounded to the nearest £500. The pay for this position is £43,000.
(Part 3 up to five years’ post-qualification experience) plus a comprehensive benefits package after six months.
We operate a pay formula to ensure fair market-level pay across the company and to ensure that there are no pay gaps based on gender, ethnicity or background.
