MDLR Architects are seeking an ambitious, organised and motivated Senior Architect to join our growing team in London. This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role across a range of medium-scale new build and refurbishment projects in the residential and co-living sectors.
We are looking for a confident individual with strong design sensibilities and exceptional project delivery skills, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to take ownership of projects and teams.
About the role:
- hybrid role: mix of studio and remote working
- lead design and delivery of residential and co-living projects across London and the UK
- manage internal and external teams across all RIBA stages
- engage directly with clients, consultants and contractors
- opportunity to influence the direction of projects and contribute to practice growth
What we’re looking for:
- qualified ARB/RIBA Architect with five plus years’ UK post-qualification experience
- strong portfolio of multi-unit residential, shared living and/or hotel accommodation projects
- proven track record of project delivery across all RIBA stages
- excellent knowledge of UK planning and building regulations, construction systems and processes
- technically competent with outstanding project-running skills
- proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
- clear and confident communication – both written and spoken English
- meticulous, articulate and self-assured in client and contractor-facing scenarios
- strong organisational and time-management skills, with experience leading small project teams
- ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure
