Bauman Lyons Architects is seeking a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its practice in Leeds, UK.
If you are Part 1 architecture student with a strong degree, and if you are motivated, self starting, inquisitive, keen to learn about design, construction, sustainability and team work, graphically highly skilled with command of Adobe Suite and CAD (ArchiCad preferable but not essential), good communicator and a team worker, then we would be delighted to receive your application to work with us in our Leeds studio. We are a small team working on a range of bespoke projects including strategic masterplans for cultural facilities, Museum of Making, Grade 1 listed Minster and a host of smaller projects, research and some construction too. We focus on project that can deliver social value. We have a flat management structure and we work 37.5 hours in four days . The five in four week means that we have four long days but a long weekend too. The right candidate will be invited to contribute to all aspects of practice and will be able to learn a lot about architecture, business and life. Salary between 18-20K by negotiation.
