Grimshaw was founded in London in 1980 by Nicholas Grimshaw. The firm has grown rapidly over the past 30 years and has offices in London, Los Angeles, New York, Melbourne, Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Doha. The studio, which covers architecture, planning and industrial design, now has over 500 staff members speaking 42 languages.
Pictured above is the Fulton Center, a transit hub in Lower Manhattan featuring a large glass and steel dome which allows light to stream onto the concourse and platform levels.
