Established in 1999, Tuckey Design Studio is an architecture practice founded by the architectural designer Jonathan Tuckey in London. The studio has garnered an international reputation for radically transforming existing buildings and sustainable new-build construction, specialising in historic renovation and combining contemporary design with layers of built heritage to explore ways in which old and new can co-exist and elevate one another.
Tuckey Design Studio has completed a number of commercial, cultural and residential projects across the UK and continental Europe, including the Michelberger Hotel in Berlin, RIBA award-winning Horris Hill Theatre in Berkshire and the Wachthuus ski lodge in Switzerland.
The firm was also responsible for converting the interiors of King's Cross gas holders into luxury apartments (pictured above).
