Mokka Design is looking for a mid-weight FF&E interior designer and project coordinator to join its team in London.

Mokka Design is a multi-award winning company that has built a reputation for creating luxurious and elegant interiors both within the UK and internationally. Currently working on residential projects in Dubai, Lisbon, Marbella and London, Mokka Design have a prestigious client list built largely by word of mouth recommendations.

We are looking for a motivated, creative and organised mid-weight FF&E interior designer and project coordinator to join our team.

Role and responsibilities:

• participate in all stages of the design process
• development of concepts design, FF&E selections and space planning
• prepare and develop presentations for client meetings
• put together schedules, specifications and design intent packages to a high quality
• ensuring that all administrative records are being completed thoroughly and company standards are being met
• conduct site visits and liaise with trades
• sourcing and general research of materials, finishes and FF&E
• liaising with suppliers for samples, pricing and following up on lead times
• assist with costings and formulation of budgets
• pricing tender packages
• review, commenting and signing off on furniture and joinery drawings for production
• assisting with the procurement process, processing invoices
• quality checking furniture and joinery post production
• manage project programmes

Knowledge and skills:

• must have minimum five years of professional experience in a similar luxury design studio and a portfolio of projects from concept to completion
• relevant interior design/interior architecture qualification
• proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign and Adobe Photoshop with strong project management and organisational skills
• proficient in Estimac and Microsoft Office, with a good understanding of the FF&E procurement process
• have onsite experience and knowledge of liaising with architects, contractors and suppliers
• ability to interface with clients and interpret and deliver their requirements
• good knowledge of FF&E suppliers
• works well under pressure with an aptitude for multitasking
• an eye for detail and a meticulous approach

Salary: based on experience

Position: hybrid – three days office (Mayfair) two days from home
