Based in London, Marks Barfield Architects is an architecture firm founded by Julia Barfield and David Marks. The pair met at the Architectural Association and subsequently spent a year out working on community-focused projects in South America, before establishing their own practice together in 1989.

The architects are best known as the creators of the London Eye, Kew Gardens Treetop Walkway and the British Airways i360. Other projects include educational buildings, mixed-use developments, cultural and sacred buildings, as well as bridges and infrastructure.
