Established in 1978 by Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron, Herzog & de Meuron is an international architecture firm headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. The firm works on projects ranging from small-scale private residences to large-scale urban designs. The practice is particularly known for its involvement in cultural buildings and museums.
