Interior designer/architect
at Linehouse
Linehouse is looking for an interior designer/architect to join its team in Hong Kong, China.
We are looking for all rounded individuals, who have a strong design sensibility, are able to execute projects from concept through to site delivery, have a strong attention to detail and are good communicators.
Linehouse is an award winning design practice with a diverse and exciting range of projects in Asia and internationally.
Responsibilities include:
- working with the design team to prepare and develop design concepts through drawings, models, images, materials and mood boards
- creating strong visuals for presentations and imagery; through 3D imagery, sketches and references
- producing technical drawings for tender and construction
- communication and coordination with suppliers, contractors and clients
Qualities and skills include:
- two+ years’ professional work experience as an interior designer/architect
- holding an industry recognised diploma or degree in interior design or architecture
- proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modelling (SketchUp), Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office
- ability to work independently and manage their own workload
- reliable and detail-oriented with good communication skills
- experience with on-site construction
- a good technical understanding of construction and required documentation
This opportunity is for applicants based in or legally able to work in Hong Kong or willing to relocate to Hong Kong.
